

Our client currently runs nine companies within their group and operates in the Midlands and North West with a combined turnover of £30m.
The company are worldwide leaders in the design manufacture and installation of measuring systems and also manufacture tooling jigs and fixtures for the automotive, aerospace and packaging industries.
We have arranged covers for the group since we started trading in 2001.
We made an approach to this client following a focused marketing campaign who subsequently allowed us to report on his insurance programme. The client is involved in the plastics and point of sale industry.
In addition to the holding broker and ourselves there was also another national broker and a direct Insurer in competition for the business. The client was paying approximately £240,000 for his insurance and had previously sustained a £1m fire at one of their trading locations in the previous year.
After a presentation to the Group’s board the client instructed us to proceed with our proposal’s which had achieved a saving of £105,000 as well as improvements to cover. The group’s turnover is approximately £33m.
